The dining room is a popular meeting and
social place for the residents at Netherhayes Care Home and when you see
the daily menu you can understand why. Special dietary needs are of
course catered for, but the choice of good, wholesome food sourced
locally and provided by the kitchen staff means that residents look
forward to their mealtimes.
Visitors may also join residents for lunch or dinner if they wish.
Meals:
Meals can be taken in the resident's own
room but residents are encouraged to accompany the other residents in
the dining room so that they can socialise and also take some exercise,
but this of course is the resident’s choice. The menu is varied and we
also cater for special diets.
Regular residents' meetings are held
where individuals are encouraged to express their views on the quality
of the food in the Home and, also to suggest menu options. The cook will
also meet each resident individually to discuss dietary requirements
and preferences.
Summer barbeques are a real highlight and
something to look forward to, but also provide a good talking point in
the run up to, during and, after the event.
Family and friends are very welcome to enjoy the hospitality of the Home by joining their relatives for a complementary meal.
Beverages and snacks are also available 24 hours a day.
